IT Support Engineer - 3 Month Contract - Cranleigh

An experienced IT Support Engineer / Helpdesk Engineer, who will have extensive 1st line helpdesk support experience, knowledge of Active Directory and networking principles and, ideally, an understanding of virtualisation, is required for an initial 3-month contract by a leading IT business based near Cranleigh.  A day rate of up to £135 per day is offered depending on experience.

In this contract role, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all technical issues, building new equipment, managing anti-virus and backups.  You will also work with the infrastructure engineer on a variety of active projects.

Our client is a leading food manufacturing business based in Welwyn Garden City and are going through a restructure of their small IT team.

The Role:
This is a superb opportunity for a IT Support professional who will have:
- Experience of providing 1st and 2nd line support 
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange Server 
- Strong knowledge of networking principles
- Immediately available to start their next contract role
