IT Support Engineer - Windows Server - Buckingham
An experienced IT Support Engineer, with strong Windows Server skills and previous help desk management experience, is required by a leading business based in Buckingham. A salary of up to £28k plus bonus and benefits is offered DOE. The role is initially offered as an 18 month fixed term contract with lots of career opportunities passed this for the right candidate.
The IT Support Engineer will operate in a stand-alone function and will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure for over 50 users. This will include Windows Server support, helpdesk management, networking, desktop support and troubleshooting all hardware issues.
The IT Support Engineer will ideally have the following experience / skills:
- Educated to degree level and ideally MCSE certified
- Previous IT support experience at both 1st and 2nd line.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS. VPN and route / firewall configuration
- Strong Microsoft Server skills
- Solid knowledge of networking principles
- Any French language skills will be a distinct advantage
